goodbye G-Rock
my favorite radio station, g-rock 106.3 here at the jersey shore, is done. i turned it on this afternoon and was assaulted by some fucking r&b. i knew something was amiss as g-rock was an alt-rock station. now it's been turned into top 40. yeah, we really need that.
fucking shame that a station like g-rock that played a lot of music that you normally wouldn't hear elsewhere and introduced a lot of good new music to people has been replaced by a format that does nothing more than push more of the general shit that the airwaves are allready oversaturated with.
fucking shame.
yay music.
r.i.p. g-rock

There's a radio station here that i really liked when i first moved to the bay area. Then they changed to all pre-programmed so there were no actual DJ's and no programs, just music and ads so it had no personality. Then they changed to Country after a couple years so my wife got into them but after a cuople years they changed to soemthing else so she doesn't listen to them anymore. They just can't seem to find anything and stick to it.\r

Clear channel owns every freaking radio station.\r

Original, local stuff doesn't fit into their business model. Expect more of the same because that's what most people listen to.
