seems like there are big dry music periods where all that comes out is top 40 crap. i'm glad that some cool music has come out recently. so far i got:

Ace Frehley: Anomaly - not bad, not great. could have used for solos and less corny lyrics.

Dethklok: Dethalbum II - it's dethklok, how can it not be good?

Ministry: The Last Dubber - a remix of their Last Sucker cd. i love remixes so i'm good with it. too bad the production plant screwed up and left the last song off the cd and they had to release it as a download!

Revolting Cocks: Sex-o Mixxx-o - a remix cd of the last revco cd sex-o Olympico. great remixes but too bad the digital download of the cd has 4 extra songs.

Megadeth: Endgame - fuck metallica. THIS is the band you wanna listen to for some real shredding! and this cd has some impressive guitar work.

Pearl Jam: Backspacer - i love pearl jam and apparently still do a lot of other people as this cd entered billboard at number 1.

Alice in Chains: Black Gives Way to Blue - Phenomenal! i am SO fucking glad that these guys were able to continue without layne staley. they sound awesome, the songs sound awesome and the singer sounds awesome. it's great to see 2 bands from the 90's still making great music. now if soundgarden would just get back together.

AFI: Crash - haven't heard it yet.

Five Finger Death Punch: War is the Answer -  i don't have it but my friend does. he loves it.

Green Day: 21st Century Breakdown - piece of shit.

so there ya go. now stop listening to your country music or hip-hop or r&b crap and go buy some decent shit!

I heard one song by Alice-n-chains on the radio. It was pretty good. Their MTV acoustic live album is one of my favs. May have to give this a listen to. Also will check out the new Megadeth disc.

I gotta get the new Dethklok. I loved the last one and I hate death metal. Well..not hate. It's just not my thing. New PJ is good. The drummer for Soundgarden plays with them now.

Some of the better PJ songs are on the second half. The first couple are very punk, but still good. Another disc not to miss is the new Breaking Benjamin. They pick up right were they left off. Along with the new AiC, Chevelle has not left my rotation of my top 4 for the year.

Granted, I've only heat the Target commercial, but the new Pear Jam sounds a little up-bet and poppy. Thoughts?
