Last night I was playing on mutiplayer in Gears of War and Call of Duty 3. It was so freaking awesome. I started with GOW because I was waiting for my ladder team mates to gather so we could do practice. About an hour before the practice I start getting a ton of invites for COD3 and I enter a match full of 2o2p members which pwnd but I had to leave because the team practice had started.
The bad:
Once we started practice we were trying to get everyone in on the same session and talking about which kits we liked and so forth. We started some fun team killing then the video signal goes out and I see that damn red ring of death. I turn the console off remove the HDD and try turning it on again, red ring. I disconnect the cables, reconnect. Red ring. I take out the Nyko Intercooler and connect the ac cable directly to the 360, WOOT! Now I can finish practice!
The Ugly:
I try to get in a quick round of GOW multiplayer this morning....RED RING. As I reflect on the week I started to notice a rattling sound when the console was reading the disc, the sound stopped while i was playing a game.
Either all xbox 360 consoles suck, my intercooler got burnt or the ladder season is bad luck (my first console died last season and couldn't participate on the cod2 ladder)
The plan:
I'm taking it down to EBgames today or over the weekend to trade it in again, Its the fastest way to get gaming again. Thank God I found the receipt with the warranty. I am currently scanning it just in case since I neglected do so last time and the ink almost faded away on it, lol. When will i ever learn?
I just wanted to let my team and fellow clan members know I won't be around till i get this resolved. I hope to be back asap for more great gaming. I had a lot of fun last night with all of you! Peace!
