So here it is, the big 3-0!  Today is my birthday and I am officially 30!  Am I sad, mad or glad?  Well, glad of course!


Alot of my friends got depressed when they turned 30 (a few even went through a mid-life crisis I think), but not me!  Nope today is just another day..albeit with presents...(hint, hint FrankView Image).  All of my friends said, "Just wait until you turn 30, then you will understand.  Okay so I am here...I am 30.  Don't feel any different than yesterday.  Don't look any different (okay, except the gray that magically disappers with help from Lori, ya know L'Oreal).  So what is the big deal?  Is this something that is gender specific?  Truly, why get depressed on your birthday?  It is a time to celebrate..I will enjoy this day...Oh, and Frank, seriously there better be a good gift waiting for me at home laterView Image!

Happy Birthday!!! Turning 30 was no big deal from me, when I turn like 25,26 that was ground breaking because when filling out various forms you are no longer grouped like 18-26 and that was the only thing that made me fill old.\r

Happy B-day.\r \r My wife is 3 months older than me and we both turn 30 next year. I promised to trade b-days with her so I'm 30 first.\r ;)

Happy 30th!\r \r I'll be in the same situation in Aug... the big 3-0. I don't think it will bother me either. That's just not the way I am :)

To me, 30 was like 29 with one more number. Really, after 24 I had to admit to myself that I wasn't getting any younger.\r \r I turned 31 in April, and it was pretty much just like 30. I still feel like a kid and don't \"feel\" like the way I saw my father when he turned 30 (he was OLD!) Turns out, I guess he really wasn't that old and wise after all, because I know I'm not old and wise.\r \r People that get depressed blow my mind, it's just a number. As a matter of fact, when you turn 30 and celebrate the day, you're really already working on 31. So take that!

Awesome!! Happy Birthday! \r Yeah, birthdays don’t make a difference to me. I guess it helps when people (especially my wife) tell me that I’m acting like an 18 year old!
