Bad, Bad Day! :(

So, its gonna be a bad day.  Got up checked on Champs' ear and low and behold there is another hematoma forming at the base of his ear again.  Arrgghhh!  I had a feeling something was up late last night.  He was flipping his head around alot and at one point he wimpered during one his head shaking episodes.  It was red when I looked at last night but the incision looked good, no bump, not hot to the touch...he just seemed more agitated with his ears yesterday than he has the entire time he has been home after the surgery.  Hubby, left in the wee hours this morning for a business trip so I am waiting for a babysitter to stay with kids so I can get him to the vet this morning.  I read that these things can come back, often up to 60% of pets will have a re-occurence.  I was just hoping we wouldn't contribute to that statistic.  Guess not.  Champs' ear, hubbys' car not running....Man, its gonna be bad, bad day!
