Shared on Mon, 09/25/2006 - 15:21So there has been alot of talk in the halo forums and in general about how this site is made to meet people and to play, expand your horizons.
To some extent I agree, I have met some great people on this site and enjoy talking with them on a daily basis, but in recent weeks I have stopped playing with some that I hold in high regard, part of this is my WOW addiciton (I got to level 54 this weekend, it takes forever to level at this point so I'm getting frustrated with the the whole damn thing.)
The other part is that I like the competitive aspect of halo and specificly MLG, which puts me on the blacklist of 2o2p apparently because we are the bad kids of the site, or so I'm told. The reason that I don't jump into parties that are off playing Team Carnage or BTS is not because I don't like gaming with you, nor is it a sign that I think I'm better than you ( as I been told once again). Its that my enjoyment of the game comes from intense 4 vs 4 team battles, and not running around with an SMG teabagging as I go ( which Pheaks is the queen of by the way )
But what I have realized is that sometimes it takes meeting in the middle to keep things going, so I have tired to EXPAND my HORIZONS by jumping into larger parties and just playing with the 2o2p community. And I have to admit I have found this to be highly frustrating, and chaotic; which is not all bad, and the good thing about it is that people can talk a little shit and no one gets offended or takes it seriously, which happens alot on the MLG side of the game.
So I quess the whole point is that, if I'm in a big party and I pipe up and say "hey I'm going to go play some hardcore" don't be offended, I've just reached my limit of running around with an SMG.
Kill ya later.
Go forth and continue to SUCK IT.
