Camping is in tents silly timmy

I know that this is not new information, but I’m getting so sick and tired of hearing complaints about camping. I’m a COD guy, so feel free to disregard this blog if you are into something else.  If you agree, then leave comments and clicky click the thumbs up button, it gives me happy.

Last night really got me on edge. I jumped into a game of domination and got put on a team of timmies. We were playing against a team of PCP guys so of course we lost. In the lobby these timmies were angrily accusing the other team of camping and making all sots of sarcastic comments about the ability of the other team to camp the flags.

Do they not understand that to win you have to take and HOLD flags. NOT simply take a flag and run on to the next one, leaving the previous flag totally unguarded. When the PCP guys left 2-3 people back to guard the A flag it completely confused the poor timmies.

Let’s pretend for a moment that we were playing a regular Team Deathmatch. OK, still, who cares if the other team digs in and holds a spot on the map? That means that they are guaranteed to spawn in that spot, making life easier. What’s not to like? I’m sick of people using the other team’s lack of mobility as an excuse for their own mediocre game play.

If you know where they are and you know where they spawn and you still can’t kill them, then the problem is not the camping its YOU. With deep impact, grenades etc you have a pretty good advantage, quit your bitching.

I think that people simply get frustrated when the game play is slowed and they cannot control the flow of the fight. Or they feel as though they have to justify their defeat after every game. It’s OK to lose guys, some people are just smarter, faster, better than you, deal with it. I don’t care what your mommy tells you; you are not the godsend of all things.

I wish there was some “insult” to combat people who yell “CAMPERS!” Like “retards who keep running into my bullets and refuse to use cover expecting something different to happen the 30th time you run the same route.”  that's probably a bit long to be usable (that's what she said)

"Sniper" has become a very similar insult. From what I can tell, you are expected to run and gun with a sniper rifle and get all no scopes. God forbid you use the scope that is attached to the gun.

Apparently including sniper rifles and the ability to stay in once place fore more than 10 seconds are HUGE Infinity Ward screw ups. I can only hope that once they fix the absolute mess of a spawn system and the lobby system designed by chimps (no insult intended to chimps) they can address these overshadowing flaws.
