Catch up

So things are starting to pick up for me around here.  Whilst I'm thinking about it, if any of you will be in the Erie area on Sept. 26-28th let me know.  We're having our wine festival and I can provide you tickets and possible even some tokens for the good stuff.  We have some damn good bands lined up too, just FYI.

I did end up getting the blackberry curve from ATT.  So far the reception in this area is tons better than Verizon, with no dropped calls and fantastic reception even in the house.  It is a feature packed little phone and is a great way to keep all my thoughts and contacts together.  The screen is a scratch magnet, but you can't have it all.  I did end up getting the data package.  I figure that it's more than worth if for these few busy months of work, and my employer will split the cost.  I can see how people can be addicted to these things.  It is nice to be able to take care of emails and whatnot while I'm taking a dump.  And don't even get me started brickbreaker.  I only had my account set up on our godaddy account for a few days before we switched our hosting but it was great.  Godaddy has that IMAP server thing so it forwards the message as soon as it gets it.  Now I have to wait 15 FREAKING minutes for the phone to poll for messages!  I'm going to try to set my work account to forward to a yahoo account which will then be pushed to the phone. fun stuff.

Speaking of fun stuff.  The wifey called to check our bank account for some reason the other day and found that we were significantly lower than we should be.  Turns out that some jackass in LA had our debit card info and bought a $300 radio controlled helicopter and a $900 dell computer.  We caught it immediately so we were able to file a dispute and get our money back, but what a pain in the ass.  We also learned an important lesson:  Only use  credit cards online, NOT debit cards.  When you use a debit card your money is gone, bye bye.  With a credit card, your company pays it and then you can dispute it while your money stays in your bank account.

Autumn. It's good to have you back :) And no, I may not have been crying myself to sleep in missing of you, but missing was still taking place. Just for you, I'll start writing on the Jericho Files again.

yikes...they do say that all the info is out there for sale...and that you're safe as long as it's being traded and sold between companies and Pros....it's when it falls into the hands of a stupid ass that uses it that the trouble starts.

Thank you Kwazy for that suggestion. Could you possibly give me the number for your six-year old chinese nimble-fingered child. That would be great. Blue, I never thought of using it for IACO...but now maybe I will... IACO-just face the fact. You will never beat me. Ever. J-you rock. I love you man! It is nice to know someone was missing the bloggage. And you'd better do them Files. Then pm me so that I make sure to read them. :) Char, thank you. I like it too. It is by Gustav Klimt and it is called the Tree of Life.

I would suggest having a chinese six-year old sew your straight jacket. That's who did mine. It breaks just right across the shoulders, and their nimble little fingers make the smallest of stitches.

Glad you joined the clan! I, too, laughed when I saw the "epidural in the parking lot"! btw- I still die frequently (after over a year and half) but still enjoy those few redeeming times when things seem to go right.
