I'm putting together a facebook page for work. I've goofed around with a little html in the static fbml boxes - cool beans. Now I'd like to put a slide show up on the page. I found the jw image rotator which is nice because I can just add/remove tracks to the xml file and change the pictures quickly and easily.
I moved all the files to a geocities account and messed around with other peoples javascript and html until it works. This is where YOU come in. I can't get this stuff to work on facebook. Their flash app wants a "real" .swf file with images and xml all saved together. At the same time, using static fbml isn't working so hot for me either. I'm using absolute URLs for the .swf but I think that slideshow is run by a .js file (clicking on the .swf file just makes it load forever without finding images). But facebook doesn't allow scripts does it? And I don't know what the hell an <iframe> is. ??@#$%@
I know jack squat about this stuff, so please speak slowly and in layman's terms. This is what it is supposed to look like.
