A little Q & A. Not to be confused with T & A

A bunch of people have asked questions about my post the other day. Here are some of the common ones. Sorry if I sound like I work for them, that is not my intention, and I don’t.

This doesn’t make sense, why would they just give away money for nothing?

My guess is that they are able to do it because 90% of people don't follow through for some reason or other. Other than that I really don’t know. Maybe because of the next question.

How long does it take?

It is not a fast process, about 45 days until you can print your certificates and then another 30 for them to ship the money/prize.

What kind of offers are there? Are they expensive?

For the 360 the offers were not that bad. Make sure that you check the last page first, that’s where the difficult/expensive offers are. I'm currently doing one for a 360 elite and the last page offers are pricey and difficult to work around. Also, you will get an ass load of spam, make sure you have a separate email account set up

There are a ton of offers that you can choose from. I personally wouldn't recommend the credit cards. They have a high interest rate and could mess with your credit. Some other offers include Gamefly, netflix, blockbuster, scholastic books, yourmusic.com etc. and they're reasonable.

By this I mean you are required to become a paying member of netflix. Ok, so you get the $4 per month package and cancel after 20 days. With yourmusic.com you have to buy a cd, that’s not a bad deal since they’re all like $5. I also did cosmetique. I got a whole bunch of makeup for my wife for joining their club, I just had to pay shipping. As soon as I got the stuff I canceled the club. I just did the baby einstein books and when I called to cancel and send them back they told me to keep the books and refunded my money anyways.

Some people say that you have to keep your offers for 45 days before you cancel them. I don't believe that. If you keep them too long you'll end up paying for an extra month or get charged extra. Simply complete the requirements that are in the pop up box for the offer and cancel before you get charged again.

What should I keep track of? Is there anything I might need?

I used a spreadsheet and kept track of each offer, my usernames and passwords and when I had to cancel by.

When you sign up for each offer keep a copy of the welcome email and keep copies of your credit card bills. If for some reason the offer is not approved gadgetcity.com asks you to prove that you did the offer. You simply fax the welcome email and any billing information and they get it manually approved in a matter of hours.

Their customer service is always polite and helpful but don't expect them to call you if something isn't completed. Ball is in your court. On that same note, after you sign up at gadgetcity.com or their sister site freegameconsoles.net you may not get a username and password sent to you. Just give them a quick call and get it set up.

This is a pretty long thread but it has some good information in it.

Can I sign up for 10 360’s and get $4000?

Not that I know of. They keep track of IP addresses and physical addresses. You can do one of their other sites but not the same one twice. Of course if you did one from your work computer and had it shipped to work and then used your wife’s name and did it from home who knows. Its too complicated for me.

If you are already a member of one of the offers then you cannot use that offer. Meaning, if you are already a netflix member then you cannot choose that offer.

That’s all that I can think of right now.
