Is xbox dying?

In the last few weeks I've had some troubles starting with the box.  When I turn it on the logo screen comes up and then just stays there.  It doesn't freeze, the logo keeps moving, but the dashboard won't come up.  If I turn it off and then turn it on again it usually works.   It has also given me the disk read error a handfull of times, and has frozen a few more times than normal during games.  Is this the beginning of the end?

Sure sounds like it. When my box went south.. it was pretty immediate. I turned it on one night and RROD without any warning. At least yours is giving you the head's up...
