Shared on Tue, 09/21/2010 - 12:49Fall has arrived and one field of soybeans was ready yesterday. Harvest hi-jinks have commenced. And on a personal note, I have forgotten how to send a private e-mail on 2o2p. Oh, well. The massey 850 combine needs some work today and the Challenger will be out in the field this afternoon, if it does not rain. Since I never know when people will be in the yard or not...I will be getting some chicken & noodles simmering on the stove this afternoon and will forget how bad a software noob I am.
Anyone, know how J-Cat has been lately? As soon as I recall how to send a private message (sorry Talemyn), I will contact her to see how the family are doing.
Has anyone followed endgadget at their web-site? The flames went on for 8 pages before folks calmed down. The question was "How would you inprove new Xbox". Left my 2cents and logged off. Yes, I bought the REACH special edition...if you want the higher bandwith, stick with your double antenna and old box until they make it 5 vs 2.4. Here in God's country, we have lower bandwiths. No optical wires running past my drive-way. The phone lines are old, old, old. That's why I still buy disks...for days the internet is down.
Watched Caesar's video of the new Castlevania game and noticed the Oblivion-like voice overs. Maybe I will pick it up later. I replied a comment to the discussion about the new changes on battle techniques in REACH. I found I had to go several levels on easy to stay alive long enough to figure out the new armor conventions. Rumor has it that Bungie will be making a new IP for the PS3. Anyone, know anything about that? A Marathon type? Need to buy the newer BFBC maps. Will try to get back into that game again, summer slow downs were bad, I heard from Talemyn.
Since my office moved an hour plus away from my home, I am considering retiring. Now, being unemployed feels different in my head than retirement. Anyway, I am trying to get a schedule going to keep chaos from descending, oh, wait! Didn't I say that harvest has begun...let total chaos arrive!!! Forget schedules. Forget me being totally organized...I will be too busy baking and cooking to form a greater plan. But in my down moments or multi-tasking efforts in the kitchen....does it seem to anyone else that made for TV movies are game type, modeled after game pacing, sci-fi situations or action game similar?? I think they are borrowing plot lines from games. Like Cold Fear. Hmmm....time to put that bird in a pot. TTYL, M110 over and out
