Sam Fisher & Halo Reach Beta & Mom's Day

Well, if you are an afficionado of storytelling...then Splinter Cell should be on your list. If you like action and re-action, then play this game. I completed it on realistic and I cussed level nine...but in the end it is in my game collection. There are wonderful strategic options and you can test your solution-focused approaches with multiple replays. Only thing...if you want to reload for getting multiple achievements with say the gun and assault rifle; exit before the final level completion save and after your achievement pops to be close to the area you need...otherwise it will be replay the entire level time. If you want the achievement for evil and good at the end....do the revenge taking first and the honorable one second for your final save, if thats how you want the story to end. I failed to do this on Mass Effect 1, and my desired outcome was over written and my least desired is the one that Mass effect 2 started with. Jus' sayin'.

The Reach Beta is great and I started on the more difficult levels first. Bungie really recommends that you start with the invasion or free-for-all to become familiar with the options prior to grab bag. And of course...I did not know this at first and started on the harder maps. The invasion map is large and is better for team skills. There are the lone wolf options available in other areas along with CTF options. The HALO: ODST game has all of the Halo 3 maps on disk included and I picked it up as a good buy because I did not have the HALO maps downloaded. Well, I am having trouble going back to the HALO 3 controller scheme.

It is good enough that it is keeping me from the Fatal Frame series and Persona on the PS3. If I had not finished Splinter Cell first...I would be switching back and forth. Now is a great time for gamers. Thanks to Yountdog7 for the game invites. Anyone know how to see your films you save? Cannot get mine to roll.

 On another note: we farmers are still finishing planting our corn crop. Grain prices dropped when several countries announced they were too broke to buy grain. This is ominous...be sure to keep your finances in order.
