XBOX Support

Well as I posted before my 360 had gotten the Red Ring of Death. Well I called XBOX support that night and they said they couldn't do anything for me because they were doing a system upgrade. So I say ok I'll call back later on, then I decide to do the infamous towel trick which actually worked. So I put off calling for awhile and try to call on Sunday night since I was busy all day. I get a represenative and gave her my reference number, shes says I'm sorry sir but we are doing a system upgrade. I was about to fly off the handle but kept my calm and listened to the lady say "sorry sir" 20 more times. Finally yesterday on my third attempt I was able to get my "coffin" set to send out to me.  So hopefully I can get my xbox back in a decent amount of time, I'd rather not have to be without it for a month.

Good luck with that. I've heard it can really vary in return times. As short as 3 days, as long as 2 months. Check out my blog, took me 10 days to get up and running again with a refurbed unit, but now my eject button on the console only works about %50 of the time. That towel trick really does work, but I didn't want to send it in while it was working, so I waited a month for it to RROD again. Again, that varies, sometimes it only lasts for a couple of days.
