MJ's Back! BITCHES!

Well, I have finally found a little extra time in my life and decided to start gaming again.....at least a little.  I've been playing CODBO almost every night for at least 2 hours.  It's given me the ability to blow off a little extra steam which is good.  I am not too fond of those games where I completely get obliterated as I don't know the maps and haven't spent THAT much time learning them.  Almost builds up more steam.  I do find the wager games pretty fun though.  Everyone there is pretty much on equal grounds.  Also, when I really get pissed, I just get into a team deathmatch in practice mode.  Totally loving that as I can set the AI as hard or easy as I want.  I found that out last night as I got tired of getting my ass really kicked.  I would literally peak out of a corner and boom, dead.  Respawn, dead, respawn, dead.  That's cause I had the fuckin AI on Veteran.  Dropped it down a notch, MUCH better.  It's also allowing me to learn the maps a bit more in a real gameplay situation. 

As for Halo, a game that I used to love......not so much anymore.  I can't even pop it in because it doesn't feel right anymore.  I love playing through the game, but not as interested as I thought I'd be in multi-player.  Oh well, not trading it in though.....

Rock Band.......my most favorite drunken game.  I will rockstar it up with anyone when I'm hammered.  I can play guitar like Slash and sing like David Lee Roth.........in my own mind.  The rest of the household doesn't think so much.....especially when it's 3am, I'm drunk and they're sleeping.  Just got Rock Band 3 and working on playing it through....SLOWLY........cause I really want the real guitar to do it.  I have a real one in my basement and can read notes, just never learned how to play........I'm hoping that the pro-mode helps me out on this....as it's something I've always wanted to learn how to do but can't afford to pay for lessons.

As far as life goes.........I'm in Iowa again.  Incase there are a few of you around, you all know I've moved a LOT. When I helped start this site so many years ago, I was living in Memphis, TN, then moved to the house I'm in in Iowa, moved to Rockford, IL and now I'm back in Iowa.  Pretty damn crazy but just learning to deal and trying to enjoy life by not taking things so seriously.  Hard to do as everything seems to rush, rush, rush and there are NEVER enough hours in the day to get everything accomplished. 

I did get a brand new slim 360 with the Kinect.  Pretty bad ass and allows me to have an xbox on my crappy tv in the basement.  Stil....gives me another xbox.  Best part is I got it for almost free because I had gift cards from work. Haven't really got the Kinect thing sorted out yet as our living room is kinda small and I need to mount it on the top of my tv in order to get the full view for it. 

Oh, and I'm still going to college online.  What a fricken waste of money.   All I can say is I hope that the piece of paper pays off in the end.  8 more classes to go and I have my Bachelors in Business Administration.

One last thing........I've started my own business with a friend of mine.  If anyone is good at writing computer programs/bluetooth electronics, please hit me up.  Can't afford to pay you but will offer you a part of the business in exchange for your services..........it's all just an idea right now and can't say too much as it's not patented yet.
