All-Pro

So I've been playing All-Pro football, and I think it's alright. Maybe the reason I'm not so stoked up about it is because I never played 2K5.  Another reason for my ambivalence is the fact that, hey I realize I'm a shitty football video game player.  But when I have Johnny Unitas throwing to Jerry Rice, you would think somewhere in the course of an entire game, Rice could reel in a ball! Somewhere...a tip, a hail mary, something! But no, even by chance, a shitty player such as myself cannot make this combination work.

Here's something that happened last night. I wish I had saved the replay.  My other team--where I didn't squander my gold picks on two offensive players--was playing last night, Cunningham throws a pass to I don't remember who.  The ball bounces off a defender's head,  then it kind of bounced off my receiver's chest and it's heading toward the ground. As I'm watching this it takes a couple of seconds, I think OK play over.  Well another defender dives for it, then suddenly the ball pops up into the air--from almost off the ground--and floats there for long enough for another defender to zip over and catch it. Interception! When I watched the replay angrily, from every possible angle, the defender that dove for the ball bobbled it in his hands and came down on top of it, at which point the ball passed THROUGH his chest (yes I'm sure, I watched it SO many times) and then came out the back of his chest with enough velocity to pop back up into the air for a couple seconds.   I know all games are glitchy at some level, but I've seen a couple humdingers in this game.
