So this is weird.

Some time ago, I bought 'Atlas Shrugged' and it's been sitting on my bookshelf for a few months collecting dust. Last week I finished a couple other books and decided to tackle this monster.  I knew an outline of the plot, but not too much. Then I downloaded the Bioshock demo. I had no idea what this game was about except, you got to bash people with a wrench and it was underwater.  So I won't spoil anything about the game, if there's anyone who doesn't want spoilers, but let's say I immediately noticed some similarities between the book and the game that I had no idea existed.  It's just really weird that I decided to start that book last week and then BAM! Along comes the video game tie-in.

That is pretty interesting. I did not know of the tie in either.

I hadn't read anything about it but it's really obvious in the game--and I've only played the demo and read part of the book! There are big plot similarities, the timeline is the same, a lot of the lettering in the game is that art-deco type font associated with the book. Plus just in the demo I noticed 2 character name tie-ins.

I'm guessing one of them was Atlas. Was the other "Big Daddy"?:D
