DeltaBravoSierra!!

A couple of things to start out this glorious Monday morning:  First and formost, XM-806 can kiss my ass.  All men are created equal, John Moses Browning made some of us more equal than others.  No matter what they come up with, the M2 Cal .50 BMG is irreplacable.  From WW II through the ongoing actions in Iraq and Afghanistan Ma Deuce is still the supreme standoff weapon in the arsenal.  For something designed almost 80 years ago, it's longevity is nothing short of amazing.  To try and replace it before it's been in service for at least 100 years is just plain ignorant.  Anybody who's stood behind Ma Deuce and depressed the butterfly trigger and had their fillings rattled out knows that there is no substitute or replacement for her.  It was a mistake to replace the M1911 as the standard sidearm and I believe the same about this half assed movement to replace the M2.  On to my second point, Gee thanks Damon.  All this time I've been tagging your strip Kneedeep in the HUA!!, which is actually a pretty good blog site located here.  So, for all future reposts here, they will be titled DeltaBravoSierra.  One last note, I went by Allen's Gun Shop in Clarksville, TN Friday afternoon.  This is the place covering my FFL transfer on my Mosin.  After the transfer fee, I will have acquired a piece of history, a medium caliber high powered centerfire rifle for just under $150.  They are of the mind that it will be arriving probably today or tomorrow.  Yaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!!!!
