I've got a DVD copy of that film- I could swear the training officer/host was either the scarecrow or the tin man from the Wizard of Oz......1939 version of course. If not one of them am sure he was an actor that got drafted and was happy to do his part for the war effort.

None of them struck me as soldiers by profession, good for a giggle and good technique though.
