Ammo is available on cheaperthandirt.com and midwayusa.com... and once once I get my dick mittens on it and separate my shoulder you'll get a range report.

Nagant, won't hurt you too bad. Just make sure that thing is all the way into your shoulder before you fire. Shot a buddy's nagant and a 300 WinMag, then went back to shooting AR's, felt like I was shooting a BB gun.

picked up 80 rounds yesterday at the place that's handling my transfer (as well as the weaver rails for my .22lr rifles). Milsurp 7.62x54 rimmed russian (yeah it has corrosive primers, push a patch of hoppe's #9 bore solvent through the barrel when your done shooting and clean it when you get home, problem solved) for about $7 for 20 rounds, also picked up some Brown Bear for about $11 for 20. They had a shitload of the milsurp. only problem I have with their selection is that it's all steel cased, so I'm still looking locally for the brass case so I can reload it.
