Ebay Scammers

Well guys i have been scammed i have been using egay for about 10 months now and i have never had a problem with it untill now.

so here is my story my free trial of gold ran out last week so i found this great deal on egay.The deal was for £40 this chap would give me 12 months subscription to xbox live and also 10'000 microsoft points well i saw it and thought that is way to good to be true.So i started emailing ppl that have bought the item off him and they all came back to me and said they where very happy with the service that they got off the chap.So i then emailed the seller and he seemed like a very nice guy and i asked him if it was a scam or dodgy he said to me no it is all above board so i went for it.(I no very stupid of me.)

I payed straight away threw paypal on the friday and never heard nothing off him untill the sunday night saying he had broke his computer while trying to fit a new hd and he would have it all sorted for me by the friday.So i then went to egay to see i could message him but he was no longer registerd with egay so the i was like ok i have been scammed here so i took out a dispute with paypal to try and get my money back.I left it then until the friday morning and emailed him he replyed this time for once and said he would have it all done that night so i said ok np you have till midnight.

At 10.15 i recived a email off him saying it was all done so i signed in with my gt and it was i had 12 months and 10'000 points so as you can imagine i was like cheers thats great sorry for all the stress.He said it is ok.I have been playing all week with my gt and last night when i get home from work i have had a email off ms saying that my xbox live had been canceled i was like what i have not done that so i emailed the guy and he recons that he has no idea what is going on.So i phoned ms and they are about has helpful as the guy that scammed me it would help if they could speak english.

So the up shot of this little story is i have had to buy another 12 months and also change my gt because i carnt update my old one to gold beacuse it keeps coming up with some kind of status code.So this is to the people that use egay be carefull guys cause even though they have a good rating they could still scam you.

p.s i canceled the dispute with paypal due to the fact that i recived my item and now i carnt start it again because it has been resolved.
