I'm going to try my hand at contributing some articles for 2O2P. I plan to rehash some old games, but in new ways that makes you take a look at the current ones in a different way (maybe). Some kind of combination of humor, history and the nut-and-bolts of gameplay I think.
As for myself, I'm a professional sculptor, working in the toys and collectibles industry, so I am sometimes hovering near the game industry, though not technically inside it. I do game sculptures on occasion, sometimes for company clients, and sometimes just for myself. I just love games, new ones and definitely old ones too. My favorite classic arcade games are Gyruss, Scramble, Joust, Rygar, Trojan, Dig-Dug, Darius, Space Harrier and Food Fight. My favorite old-ish games are Crazy Taxi, Einhander, Soul Edge, Parappa the Rapper, Rage Racer and Brahma Force. My newer favorites are the Armored Core series, the GTA series, Gears of War, Just Cause, and Call of Duty 2 and 3,
