Shared on Mon, 12/24/2007 - 09:08Well the time is finally here. We're done with all our shopping. The gifts are all wrapped and under the tree. Kids are out of school and we adults are on vacation. Family is arriving in town. Tasty treats are being made and waiting to be consumed. Parties with friends and loved ones are in full swing. There is a sense of joy and happiness (and just a bit of stress....gotta get all those tasty treats done in time) in the air. Christmas is here and it truly is the most wonderful time of the year.
I can't believe we've already made it through another year. I look back and wonder where all the time went. There have been many good times and a few bad. We've lost some friends and family and welcomed new ones into our fold. We've gone through changes and helped others along with their own. There's been rough spots for sure but the good far outweighs the bad. All in all its been a great year and I am truly thankful for all the blessings we've had bestowed upon us. I look forward to the challenges and adventures that lay ahead in the New Year and I'm excited about what the future holds.
In closing I just want to say thanks to all of you for being a part of my life this year. Even though we may never meet face to face and only talk over the internet, you are all friends to me. You're a great bunch of guys and gals and I'm glad to be a part of this great group of people. So enjoy your families and friends. Get some rest on your vacations. Merry Christmas from my family to yours and have a very happy New Year! See you in the trenches in 08.
P.S. - Make sure you're shitters aren't full!
