I'm paying the price....

...for being a shift worker since I was 17.  I came off my last night on Thursday morning and it still feels like I should be on nightshift right now.  I was actually asleep at midnight but my daughter started crying.  My wife brought her to bed after trying to get her to go back down without any luck and the little girl would not stop kicking me.  She probably thought it was funny.  This is probably the third time in 18 months she has been in our bed, other than to play in it.

My wife does not do good without sleep so at about 1AM I took my daughter and held her for a bit and then put her in her crib, after she woke up my son of course.  And low and behold, after crying a few times she is out.  Too bad I can't say the same about myself.  Oh well, it will be some Gears 2 or MW2 for me for a little bit anyways.
