Brave New World……
Well here we are….
Internet: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship V3. Its continuing mission: to explore strange old peoples, to seek out old life and old civilizations, to boldly go where no website has gone before.
Welcome V3!
This is cool! My first V3 blog post. The site was down Wednesday, so I didn’t get to make fun of leap day. I’m not gonna lie – I’m reasonably disappointed. I had plenty of mocking prepared – mocking, I might add, that I’ll now have to store up for another four years. However, my memory being what it is becoming, I’m sure I’ll forget all about this very soon.
This site seems to be coming along nicely.** Like many, I’m sure, I‘m having a little trouble figuring out how, or more precisely, where to set up my sig, ect. I’m very patient, though, and I’m sure someone soon will post that stuff in the “Help” section, although I can’t say I remember seeing a help section just yet. Hmm.
I get really severe migraines, so all the white is actually hurting me, but I’ll just have to adjust. The same thing happened on the last, well the one before the most recent update to the Xbox dashboard. I sent Microsoft a whole bunch of hate mail for that, but I’ll leave the guys alone here, because they’re just a couple of guys doing this in their spare time, and they’re doing it to make the experience hopefully better for us. It’s somewhat altruistic, if you think about it. Microsoft, on the other hand is an entire department of people, who all discussed the color scheme, and ultimately, I think they decided on the white just to be turds, and I told them that. Truthfully, I’m surprised they didn’t throw me off of the site. I did send them several pieces of hate mail, and I was rather rude and condescending in all of them.
I’m thinking about checking out ME3, which comes out on Tuesday. It looks interesting to me. I’ve never played any of the other Mass Effects, so I have no idea what to expect. I’ll wait, of course, until I can get it for 40 bucks or less.
What I may have to pay full price for is Silent Hill: Downpour, which comes out in two weeks. I don’t know if I’m strong enough to wait until the price comes down. I’m already getting a little twitchy about the Alan Wake extension, which I spoke of in my last blog entry.
Anywho, this starting to get a little long, so I’ll wrap it up.
This week’s shout-outs go to doodirock, dsmooth, and all other persons who are trying to get this site fully functioning. No matter how I may complain, you have my gratitude and respect in this matter.
**EDIT: This is a re-post. For a week now, I’ve been able to pull up everyone else’s blog, but mine says “unable to find page.” So I’m trying again. If this doesn’t work, I’ll have to figure out what I’m doing differently than everyone else.

And Now, Launching in Fall of 2012 "v4: The Next Procrastination."
Just figured we might as well get a head start on pushing the date back.
