Community Liason #2

Hey Everyone I'm Matt AKA "NoGame" and I've been a part of the site since early 2005 when I got my first Xbox 360. Up until that point in time I was a shhhhhh Playstation Fanboy. Don't tell anyone OK. I have been gaming since pong, but I really cut my teeth when Unreal Tournament 2K4 came out during college.

I found 2old2play thanks to Call of Duty 2, Xbox forums (I know timmy heaven), and BadBug AKA Angelito. I was looking for tips on how to beat the silo level on COD 2. I thought I would come over check out the scenery b/c had I played online without many friends at first. Like most of us here I was frustrated with the lack of communication or the abundance read: screaming, singing, mom cracks, etc... What I found was a great place to hang out, meet new people, and a one stop shop for all my gaming news.

Over the years I've been involved with the site in many different ways from clans like: COD, 2o2p MK, 2old2shoot, Old Man Mafia, PPC, etc.. to the behind the scenes as well helping with Public Relations, setting up our annual LAN (which is no more for now ::, organizing charitable raffle donations, writer, and contacting gaming industry folks for information/review copies of games). Right now in addition to the community position I am overlord of 2old2shoot along with Lala Calamari (Lala), and MnVikesFan (Mike). We host a kick ass COD clan night on Wednesdays with full rooms, fun games, and the company is alright as well. If you are interested in checking it out hit me up and we'll get you in a game.

On the personal side/gaming habits:

I'm a father of two wonderful kids, husband to a great wife (who thinks I'm a huge nerd), and all around geek. I've read all the classic books, read every review on upcoming games, and waited in line for midnight releases. If it's got a multi-player component I'll play it, if there are achievements to get I'll probably try for a few of them, and I like to drink beer when I game.

As for the Community Liason side of things I'd like to hear from everyone on 2old2play about what type of events, giveaways, news, etc... that you would like to see. So please take the time to post up a comment and let me know what you are looking for out of the site so that we as "ambassadors" can make sure we are on topic of what the community wants.
