Okay, so Bioshock for the PC doesn't have a rootkit. Just another horrible anti-copy service/driver/whatever. Linkage.

I finished Bioshock yesterday and was surprised at the ease of killing the final 'boss.' Most 'Big Daddy' creatures were considerably harder to kill. Oh, well, the game is on its way back to to GameFly to recycle out to another anxiously waiting gamer.

The soundtrack composed by Garry Schyman is available for download & brief listening pleasure. It weighs in at 23 MBs and about 24 minutes listening time.

Next up, Darkness.

On the non-gaming front, Netflix sent me the first five discs for Season one of Heroes. I have the episodes from discs six & seven already recorded from the broadcasts, so now all I need is the time to watch this great show.

My car is in the shop again. The AC went out again, and being summer in South Florida, it is far too hot to be driving around without proper cooling. While getting the driving chore out of the way yesterday, I got rear-ended by some dude not paying attention. We had just passed a cop that had somebody pulled over and wham! And me with frozen groceries in the back. Fortunately there was not damage to either car. I insisted on a police report just in case either of found or developed any problems.

Still going out biking 10 miles almost everyday. I have lost over 17 pounds since the middle of June. Hopefully I can keep up the weight loss as I'm generally feeling healthier and better.

Oh, and if you are curious about the HD format war, you might want to check out this op-ed piece - No Choice on Doom9.
