Shared on Mon, 04/09/2007 - 23:01Wow. Finally put in for and got vacation time off. I've only been at the job for nearly four years. Hadn't taken any time over maybe 2 or 3 days since being hired. Before that was around 8 months of unemployment in late 2000. Now I've got time off. How much....
Two weeks! WOOT!
Since I work weekends, Friday to Monday, that translates to nearly three weeks off. That isn't nrearly the best news...
I've got another two weeks off in May! Wooot!
I don't know how I'll fill this first vacation, but the May vacation will be spent in Oregon. That'll be interesting. I'll be doing a photography self-tour down the Oregon coast from Astoria to Crescent City, Ca. Then turn around and drive up through the interior (high desert region). Should be interesting driving around mountain roads, especially for a Floridian used to flat land (highest point around here is a landfill 'mountain'). Should be awesome for photography.
Now, how to fill around 16 days....
