"Powered by its twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8, the One:1 features active aerodynamic and suspension systems that help it generate massive amounts of downforce and grip for the turns, but smooth things out on the straights, where Koenigsegg says it should be good for a world record speed of 273 mph.
According to Guinness, the current fastest car in the world is the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport at 268, but America’s Hennessey Performance just topped 270 mph with one of its Venom GTs on the Kennedy Space Center’s Space Shuttle landing strip."
