so finally got my artwork out to my sticker guy, so now I'm at the mercy of his plotter... as soon as I get the vinyl from him I'll start the process of masking and painting... thats gonna be the fun part. So I had a lot of setbacks this week, like the lead wires just fell off of my EL sheet, The transformer to my neon tube blew, and I decided to completly restart my recognizer, cause I just wasnt happy with the way it was turning out. But I've had a lot of successes.

When I drew up the concept for this xbox I honestly had no idea how I was going to pull it off, so Its a great fealling to start to see it comming to life. The mounting system for the disc came together surprisingly easely. Removing it from bieng flush with the box not only simulates the movie better but it gives me the extra room I need for running the massive amount of wires that keep appearing with this project.I'm also working on the top exhaust vents I'm happy with how they are tourning out, just dont know if it is gonna be my final version of them yet... well enjoy, its finally starting to look like something now...

Great work, just wondering why you're building it based on the 'old' system rather than the slim

Thanks guys... Tank I actually get asked this alot, and there are several reasons. First off there are hardly any aftermarket parts made for the slim no fans no lights no cases nothing. Microsoft also built the slim to cut modders like me out of the equasion. By putting the touch sensitive controlls in the faceplate itself and curving every surface of the case they illiminated the ability do do much more than cut a small window in it. The consoles I use are brand new, and other than bieng stock a little quieter, and internal wifi there really isnt any difference performance wise...
