Camping, Sorta

Spent last weekend with friends north of Tulsa. They were still without power after the ice storm, some of their neighbors are expected to be without power until January. We had a great time, saw the Glenn Beck Christmas show. It was interesting, but left me craving cookies. Got to experience the mind numbing sprint to the generator early in the morning in 20 degree weather to reset the breaker, lots of fun. It was a lot like a camping trip for me, go spend a weekend roughing it, come home to a hot shower and central heat. Maybe next time I visit, I'll try to avoid any power outages.

P.S. Saw snow for the first  time in 2 years. I live in the south so thats a quasi-big event for me.

As I said you can always have my snow. I don't like getting snow any more. That's why I wish I lived in a warmer state
