"We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your console. You have mentioned in your email that you see the lower-right quadrant of the Ring of Light flash red on the front of the Xbox 360 console, and give you an error message “System Error” that has the error code "E68". This behavior occurs when the Xbox 360 console experiences a hardware failure.
Please try these troubleshooting steps in order to resolve your problem:
1. Turn off the console.
2. Remove the hard drive.
3. Reattach the hard drive, and then turn on the console.
4. Obtain the latest automatic update for the Xbox 360. You may use a different hard drive or memory unit and a different Xbox Live account.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, your console may require repair."I guess I could stand on my head and recite passages from Dante's Inferno, as well. It would likely do as much good.
