I just picked up "Viking: Battle of Asgard" for the 360. I had played the demo on XBox Live, so I knew it was basically a hackfest/fetch the item type game. Of course, finding it on sale new for $19.99 pretty much told me everything I wanted to know about how good it was going to be.
When I looked it up on Gamespot, they gave it 5.0 out of 10. Ouch. Well, I'm going into it with my eyes open.
At the other end of the spectrum, I've been looking for a cheap used copy of Halo 3. I already played through it with some friends of mine right after it came out, but I'd like to have my own copy to play with my son. The problem is, I can't find a used copy for less than $49.99. WTF? The NEW copies are barely more than that, at $59.99.
I mean, sure, it's the conclusion to an epic, Master Chief, massive hype, yadda-yadda. But it's still a year old, and most gamers have moved on by now. Sheesh.
