Tired of beginnings

I began Syrim with high hopes. There've been good moments and I'm sure there will be more. But I stopped playing a level 30 char to go back and roll a brand new one, took the old saves off the HD and sent them to the cloud, and then, fresh with the 1.3 patch, rolled a brand new mage. Get to the part where she can do serious dungeons, pickup a coral claw, head to Yngol Barrow, and guess what? (What a runon sentence, btw). The reason I rolled the new char was to actually see the inside of Yngol Barrow. It had glitched in the old game into black, mostly, with some green glows and a bit of yellow, mostly black. No menu. No way to tell how to get back out, nothing.

So, new character, fresh start, no old saves, level 16 and sheesh! Yngol barrow is the same glitched mess it was before. Completely unplayable. Curiousity kills me. I want to do THAT dungeon because it has been denied to me.

In utter frustration, I rolled a character in SW:Tor. But she was on a slow server. I liked where it was going, so I picked a server with more guild activity, and what happens? Level 10 comes and goes, get my promotion to full Jedi, made my lightsaber, and suddenly, no specialities. No choosing an advance class. The appropriate trainers "have nothing for me". REmember, I already rolled one of the same characters, same story line on different server, and she was able to get her subclass no problem and start progressing as a sage. This poor girl on the new server, well, she did more right, got more quests done, and now she's broken.

Maybe it's time to go vacuum or something. I see the beginning sequences a number of times to get things right, and then the game gets it wrong and all that time is gone. Not sure what I learned here.

No wonder so many folks prefer Sith. I could go all sith with that 2nd toon right about now. Ahhh...well.....

Is the 3rd time the charm? Or should I vacuum?

I went and got groceries. The supermarket is never glitched and they're actually happy to take my money and to kiss my ass for it. It's a better experience than trying to get by in SWTOR XD

The good thing about an MMO is that there is customer service for things like this. The best thing I have found is to (in order): CTRL-U twice to reset in screen. If that doesn't work then Type /reload ui into your chat box. If that doesn't work then Log outand the log back in. If that doesn't work then Contact customer service in game. A few people have contacted customer service and gotten good response times. Unfortunately, new MMOs have bugs. My class quest line at 30+ on dark side has problems in that the last two portions don't tell me where to go so I have had to Google. Don't give up yet. :)

Well, to give Bioware credit, I had an email in my box when I got up that solved the problem. Outstanding.
