After the gym ramblings, again

Things I have learned in the past year...

It is not always better to give than receive.  Since I am a very giving person, sometimes my wants/needs aren't easily met.  I have found that I have to go after what I want! 

Flattery will get you everywhere!  With me, that is....  Try it, you might like it!

I fall in luv very easily.  Luv is wonderful!  There are many kinds of luv...  I luv my gkids, my family, my friends, clannies, etc. all in different ways.  And, it is not always better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.  I have lost, and the memories are sometimes.......painful.

I luv to go on road trips and meet friends I've never met!  I will do it again.  Planning on it, maybe in the fall.

I do not deal well with loss, anniversary dates, or anything that reminds me of a loss.  June 24, a day that will live in infamy, and in my heart....  August 17, my daddy went to sleep and never woke up.  March 22, my B-day!  I am getting OLD!!!  But I do know, I am getting better!

If I hang out with guys, I will always have a reason to laugh.  And sometimes I have to have pretty strong shoulders.  Life is rough for some, and I am a good listener.  I am trusted, and that is very gratifying.

Ok, I am feeling a little down lately.  That's when I start getting melodramatic like this.  My  summy is ooie.  Translation:  stomach + tummy = summy.  Do I need to translate "ooie"?  I am very aware of the passage of time.  I like to think I'm not getting older, just better.  ooooo, I think I already said that.  It is getting rougher to stay in the same place.  Time marches on.  Ack!  enuf of this.
