We are all human and make mistakes, right?  Nurses are not allowed, and neither are doctors.  When it involves a person's health, or even their life, we are not allowed to be human any more, but must be perfect.  In a sense, I agree with that.  I would not want to be responsible for something awful happening to someone simply because I was a human being that made a mistake.  But, as we know from listening to the news and such, that errors are made.  Not good.

I am going back to NC, maybe.  I would be happier there, I think, as long as there is no separation period between me and my man.  He will retire, I will bring home the bacon, and life will be good!  Now, let's see if I can pull this off.  Application filled out and sent.  Check.  Emails to (ex) coworkers.  Check.  Still have to contact my old nurse manager.  Almost check.  Sell 2 houses we have in Virginia.  Ouch!  More later......

I'm with you on the mistake thing, life's hard sometimes as a nurse. Thankfully I'm finally working towards management, now I just have to explain the mistakes that are made by my staff.
