Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve! Well, it is still morning and I have a lot to do today. The living room just HAS to be cleared out of all the junk that comes with buying stuff. The delivery man made the mistake of telling hubby to save the box the TV came in, just in case. Oh yeh, it is one huge box! And it is leaning against the couch. The Christmas decoration boxes? I'm putting them out on the porch. I am not decorating, and that's it! And, I will kick hubby outside to play with his friends. It will be sorta nice today, so, go! I have laundry to do, housecleaning, cooking, gaming, presents to wrap and put under the tree, gaming, and making myself beautiful for my kids tonight. The menu? I'm still not sure. I think ham & sweet potatoes, some kind of veggie, some kind of bread, and maybe apple pie for desert. Of course, I make everything from scratch so I will be baking bread and cutting apples and rolling pie dough pretty soon. The kitchen is also a mess. Ack! I will send him to the store, that't it! He luvs to supervise and is one of those "you missed a spot" guys. That's how he got most of the household jobs that I used to do. If you think you can do it better, it's all yours! Ha!

He went shopping yesterday, came home and announced that he couldn't find anything to get me for Christmas. Par for the course. He has NEVER, well, not never, but USUALLY does not get me anything for Christmas. He tells me to go out and get myself something, which he said again yesterday. I'm used to it. I don't want anything anyways. I'm a giver, not much of a receiver, so, that's the way it is.
