Clan stuff

Whew, been busy lately.  I was also down with the crud for a while, but feeling better now.  This blog is just to give one of my newer clannies kudos for creating a great clan website.  Yay, MrCross.

MrCross has developed a website that keeps track of all clan activities.  And, since it is such a kick to follow that, there are now more clan activities.  There is an area for announcements,sign up, forums, the usual stuff, and, best of all, a great bracket system that shows us exactly where we stand in each league, tourney, or whatever.  When v3 of MTGO came out, Wizards thought they would drop formal leagues for whatever reason.  Perhaps they took up too much bandwidth.  Perhaps they were too much of a bother.  But, this is sorely missed by many.  Now, I know, this is limited to the 2old2play MTGO clan.  That's fine cuz we know exactly what we are up against with each other and it's all good.  We play to have fun, we experience competition, and we all know to look out for HoH, cuz he is very tough to beat.

As most of you know, my clan is also known as Pearly's Stud Farm.  I am the only female in the clan atm, and boss, as well!  I luv it!  And with more people getting involved in the every day stuff, I can breathe a little easier.  I don't intend to have another co-captain, cuz there is a curse on them.  As soon as I make someone captain, it is only a matter of time before RL takes them away and they are never to be seen again. So, MrCross is my web-designer and sometime gamemaster.  I would also like to mention Kevin, who organizes some of our activities and is now my FNM reporter.  Niteowl is part of my diplomat team, along with DrStrange and some others. And rumbagod, my other captain, has fallen victim to the curse.  Hopefully he will be back, some day....   I have a very old recruitment thread on the magic the gathering site, and still get clannies from that.  But, I also get them from word of mouth from my boys.
