Cruise

We had a great time on our cruise!  Well, it didn't start out so great, but we had a good time, anyways.  The story....

The man had to work Saturday, but got off early so we could get to the airport on time.  I spent the whole day packing.  How do you pack for a man?   Blah!  It took much longer to pack his stuff than mine.  So, his brother picked us up and drove the mile or so to the airport, and all was well.  Of course, our flight was delayed.  Aren't they always?  We got to Atlanta about 1/2 hour late, and had to sit in the airplane waiting cuz all flights were delayed and there was no place for us to go.  It seems a storm was moving thru and the airport was virtually shut down.  To make a long story short, we finally got into the airport, our connecting flight was delayed 20-30 minutes at a time until, finally, around 2:00 am it was cancelled.  WTF?  YES!  CANCELLED!  After we waited with virtually no information for several hours.  Again, leaving out many details (grrrrrrr), we rebooked for 8:00 am.  That flight went well, but we were too early so we had to wait another several hours before we could get on the ship.  We were sitting on the concrete floor in the cruise terminal, waiting, waiting, (no place to sit, too many of us) and I was stepped on and even run over by a woman in a wheelchair.  Yikes!  I wanted my bed sooooooo bad.

Stayed up all day to catch all of the food fest and the welcome aboard show, then crashed and slept like we were dead.

Formal night.  Is he hot in a suit, or what????  If you look real close, you can see THE RING!!!!  It is currently being sized, but I wore it on my index finger during the cruise.  Very beautiful.  It was his mother's.  No, not married.......yet.

We had such a good time that we are already talking about another.  But, I told him, I AM NEVER FLYING AGAIN!
