Every day stuff

Weird day, today.  I had a dream last night that left me feeling very sad.  I dreamed about someone that is lost to me now, but in my dream he was close by and alive, even!  It was nice to know that he was around, but, in real life, that is not true.  *sad*

I got sent home from work today for being a bad girl!  Well, no, I really wasn't bad, just not needed.  That's bad!  I need to be needed!  So, since they "forgot" to call me ahead of time, I got 2 hours pay and out the door.  I had some shopping that really needed my attention, so off I went.  First stop, WalMart for all the girly stuff I always put off buying until I run out.  I wasted a fair amount of time in there.  And money.  But, now my wrinkles will all go away, I can wash my hair all I want, and also have clean underwear!  Oh, wait, the underwear thing was another store.  Yeh, I did it again.  Next stop, Kohl's.  That's where I did the underwear run (again) and also took advantage of their spring clearance sales!  Nothing like 80% off to catch my eye.  I bought a pair of jeans, 2 sweaters, and the underwear stuff.  Onward......  Barnes & Noble for audio books for my trip.  Hard to choose, and I refuse to buy anything but unabridged.  Why wouldn't I want the entire story?  I truly believe they are just ripping you off if you buy the abridged version.  Just my humble opinion.....  One more.....PetSmart!  Oh yeh, gotta tend to the fishes.  I have a 39 gallon aquarium with just your run of the mill communitiy guys, but they like to be fed once in a while.  Got fish food and other tank stuff, and I was done!  Off to the house...

I managed to waste the entire morning just doing "stuff" and got home just in time for lunch.  PB&J, mmmmmmm.  My daughter used to sing the song "peanut butter and jelly, that's all I put in my belly".....  And she grew up to be pretty normal.  Like her mom.  She is a cardiac nurse.  I am an oncology nurse.  She knows not about cancer, and I don't want to know about hearts.  But we still talk shop all the time.  Now, where was I?  Oh, yeh, gotta firm up my plans for my road trip.  Now, it will be partly flying.  D'oh.  And I have added a few "friends I've never met" to my list.  Who knows when I will ever get home again??????
