Shared on Fri, 08/03/2007 - 17:41I have always been a very optimistic person. I see the cup as half full, as opposed to half empty. That's a good thing. But, lately, I have started to wonder. I am married to a man that is many years older than I. We have been thru a lot together. He has been my best friend. But, he has become very strange over the last few years. Yes, he is forgetful. So what? If he goes to the store for bread and brings home milk, is it a big deal? How about if he forgets a doctor's appointment? Calling his grandsons by his son's names? Misplacing things. Driving down the road and suddenly thinking, where am I?? All of these things sound like stuff we all have done. True. But they are occuring more frequently. Should I worry about this? Dunno.
Jealousy has made its way into our home, too. Jealous of what, you ask? Anything or anyone! I spend the day with my daughter, I have hell to pay when I get home. A weekend at the beach with my girlfriends is almost a reason for divorce. And, gaming.....We won't get into that too much, but there is major jealousy going on there, too. I really doubt he has much to worry about with my fellow gamers. The very fact that they are all male, tho, is enuf for him. Acki! Is that cup still half full?
I'm not sure if this was a rant or just venting. Don't care atm.
