home again, home again, jiggity jig

Ahhhh, home.  There's something to be said about sleeping in your own bed after a week or so.  This cruise was different than any other I've ever gone on.  For one thing, I had dancing partners!  And lots of them!  Sometimes we were the only ones up on the stage, sometimes not.  One time there was one brother and three of us girls whooping it up on the top deck dance stage, and this guy came up and asked my bro if he needed any help?  LOL  I guess it did look like he had a harem.....  So, I had yet another dance partner.  Nice.....  Yes, Brian, I danced, and danced, and.......  There are pictures.  I just need to get my hands on them.  I am sunburned, of course.  And just had so much fun being a party animal with the rest of my family party animals.  ooooo, I had forgotten how they knew how to party!  woot!

So, what is a good time without something bad?  Not that bad, but, yeh, it was me.  On the last day a group of us were walking together poolside and clutzy me tripped over a lounge chair leg.  I guess ya had to be there to picture it.  I had been saying all along, that the ship's "open spaces" just were not anywhere big enuf for the amount of people on board.  I was sooooo right.  I tripped, went flying sideways into a bunch of chairs that were too close together and too much in the way, took the full weight of the fall on my NECK!!!!  Yep, I am bruised all the way from just below, my eye almost to my collar bone.  No, there will be no pics.  I had to be taken to the infirmiry via wheelchair which is prolly the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me in my life!  I am ok.  I told them I was ok.  But, I had to sign all these papers.  Well, today is the day after and the neck hurts pretty bad, but the worst is my shoulder.  It seems as if the neck injury provoked an old brachial plexus problem which is much more painful.  Drugs!  I need lotsa drugs!  But, I am really ok.
