Myself, I would not begin to think I could write about games, how good, or bad, they are, or anything even remotely related to gaming. It's just not within my ability to think those things thru and make it come out right. But, I can edit those that do! And, it is fun to do, especially since I get to see it first, tweak it, correct grammar and spelling , and whatever else. And I have a lot of respect for those that do write. Good for you!
Hubby saw the new doc this week. Fortunately, he is one of the docs in my clinic, so I had the chance to talk to him first. He has assured hubby that he will likely have another 2 years before they would even consider further treatment. And, that he will prolly die of something else long before this cancer will take him.....something about him being in the lucky 1%. Well, it made him feel good, that's a plus. So, he was back out in the yard yesterday, chopping logs and carrying them to the burn site. Yikes! Now every muscle and bone in his body aches and he can barely walk. Right! The cancer won't get him, but some day I just know I will come home from work and find him on the ground, under a log or something. No more about that....
I have said before, that I have lots of weird thoughts when I am on the bus going to work. It keeps me busy and makes the ride go a little faster. Well, one of the weird thoughts I was having recently was.....how do people really, really keep track of identical twins? Do they mark them in some way so they don't mix them up? I'm talking about right away, when they are first born. Say you've got baby Mark and baby John, identical twins. They look exactly alike. They act the same, cry, eat, sleep......oh, yeh, poop and pee. What do you do? Or, does it really matter? One is Mark, and one is John, but will we ever really know which one we named which name? Hmmmm, food for thought. Maybe the little footprints they do would tell, but, if they are identical, their footprints should be, too. See what happens when I just let my mind wander???
Soooo, was the twin thing just another on of those things that I just "know"? I tell people "I know things", and, sometimes I just do. Well, I don't know if they are identical or not, but a very good friend of mine just found out that his daughter will be having twins! They are his first grandbabies, so I can call him grampa now. But, would you think that it was a coincidence that I was thinking about such an unlikely topic as twins? Or, do I know things.......?
