I'm a Star!

I have to work tomorrow.  Well, I didn't have to, but I was listening to the moaning and groaning about how huge clinic will be cuz of Thanksgiving and all.  When I worked the extra day last week, we had 61+ patients, and I didn't get out until 5:30.  And the last nurse left at 9:00.  Terrible!  So, there will be over 67 patients tomorrow.  I say over cuz there are always walkins.  And walkins are the worst cuz they are always sick.  So, I didn't let them know until late that I would work.  I luv hugs!  I got a hug from just about everybody!  I hope we all still luv each other after the day is over tomorrow.  Yikes!  67 patients!

I'm gonna be on TV!!!  One of my patients today was receiving a study drug and the local news channel is doing a thing on healthcare.  That's not unusual, they always seem to be doing a thing on healthcare.  But the focus was this new drug that is going through clinical trials right now for lung cancer.  So, they have a shot of me doing vital signs, drawing up medication into a syringe, and who knows what else.  I was just doing my job.  Woohoo!  Autographs, anyone????
