Intrusion on my alone time

I have me littlest booboo today and I am off work!  Two good things.  Hubby has an appointment early, so he set his alarm for 7:00.  Yikes!  I was actually awake, but that thing is loud!  Yes, he woke Adtler up.  Not good, since we let him stay up last night.  Well, too late to worry about that.  So, my routine in the morning is out of bed at 5:45, potty, brush my teeth and wash my face.  Then, downstairs for breakfast which is very simple.....cereal and juice.  I pack my lunch.  Take a shower.  Off to work.  I have it down to the minute.  No work today, so routine is a little different.  I usually get up long before anyone else, get my self some breakfast and coffee.  Coffee is an absolute must!  Then settle in on the couch with my laptop and do, among other things, exactly what I am doing now.  I sip my coffee.  Check this website for whatever.  Maybe play some WoW.  No TV.  No tunes.  Just nice and quiet for a couple hours.  Ack!  This morning we were all bumping into each other.  Three at the breakfast table!!  Dunno what to do.  TV is on and Adtler has dragged all his toys downstairs.  Fortunately, the one I kept bumping into has left for his appointment.  Whew, I can tolerate the TV, Curious George, after all, is cool.  But, I don't want to have any conversation before coffee.  None!  Don't talk to me!  Most of all, don't expect an answer!

So, his appointment is for a hearing test.  We know he is deaf in his right ear, has been since he was a kid.  But, now he is losing hearing in his other ear and wants to look into a hearing aid.  I have to admit, I am tired of hearing "huh" every time I say anything.  And, repeating, at least once, anything I actually want him to hear.  I know I am bad for allowing this to irritate me. He can't help it if he is losing his hearing.  My dad also had lousy hearing, and I grew quite weary of hearing "huh" from him, too, over the years.  You would think one could learn to say "excuse me?" or "I didn't hear that" or something besides "huh".  Hmmm, seems this blog is a reflection of the mood I have been in lately.  One thing that is truly great:
