It's Today

I drank some wine last night in hopes it would help me sleep better.  It worked, to a certain extent.  I woke at 1:00, 3:00 & 5:00, the last being the time I got up.  Actually, that's not too bad, considering.  Found a nice email from a friend to start my day.  Nice, T.  Thanks for that thought.

I'm sitting on my couch, doing the blog thing at 6:00 am.  Normal.  But things change today.  I am making my first run to the new place early this morning to pick up my key and pay the pet deposit.  I wasn't sure when I signed the lease that I was getting a kitty, but now I am.  Maybe even today!  I will take a load of miscellaneous stuff that has been gradually filling up my car over the past week, and then call Michelle.  She is going to help me move the few larger things I am taking.  There is the bookcase my daddy made me years ago, a dresser, my electronics and all stands and tables that go with them.  And my desk chair.  Hmm, I think that's all the larger stuff I'm taking.  I'm having just too much fun buying new!

I will be at PetSmart early this afternoon to check out that kitty i've got my eye on.  And, I will stock up on kitty stuff while I am there.  This will be one spoiled kitty.  They give them all names, but I will change that to something of my liking.  I am adopting from an independent animal rescue, so these kitties are somewhat spoiled already.  Many go to foster homes until adopted.  Nice. 

I have to be back at the apartment by 3:00 to get the cable guy in to install my internet.  Can't be without that!  Oh yeh, digital cable.  So, I can get all these nifty channels I don't even watch.  Well, maybe I will, now.  A little.  It will be nice to get out of my cave and actually play my games in the living room!  Course, my whole apartment is sorta like my new cave, but so much nicer!

I know, I am stalling.  Well?  I haven't finished my coffee yet.  Soon.  But, even tho I am excited, I am also scared.  I still have a tummy ache and headache.  I am still sleep deprived.  But, I will be ok!  Oh yeh, to the guy I played magic with last night.....thx for the kind words.  But, you could have at least let me win!!!!
