the job...

There's nothing like changing jobs to make you wish you weren't changing jobs.  It sounded simple.  I spoke with my nurse manager this morning, and she offered me 2 different jobs, my choice.  One was infusion, which I am doing now.  The other was a nurse educator type job.  It would be more money, but, lots more responsibility.  I told her I wasn't ready for that.  So, infusion nurse it is.  Then, I had to go to the nurse recruiter and pick up paperwork.  Yikes!  They want my life history!  I am only transferring from per diem to full time.  She said that is what would determine my salary.  Ahhhhh, ok, so I filled it out.  I'll turn it in tomorrow, and see what happens.  My NM wants me in orientation October 20.  No, I don't have to go thru all that again.  It is just 2 days for benefits.  Yay, benefits!  I can actually start the full time thing any time, but I have to clear up my October appointments first.  Then, I will become the slave that I am, but it is for a good purpose.  #1 of The Plan starts the end of this month.  Now I have to think about #2.  Don't even know for sure what that is, yet.  But, i'll figure it out.
