Making it Home

Ahhhh, the place is shaping up.  There are still boxes to empty, but they are getting less and less.  Now, if I wasn't sick, it would be a lot easier.  Yeh.  It's been over a week now.  My symptoms started in my throat, and have moved all over the place including coughing, sinus infection, headache, nausea and other unmentionable GI symptoms.  I am sick to death of being sick. 

Now, the house.  It looks like a couple of gamers live here!  The main focus of the great room is our two desks with our monster computers on them.  And, across the room is our entertainment center which includes TV and 3 gaming consoles.  The bookcases are full of games, movies and audio books.  Oh, there are actually a few real books, but not many.  Our bedroom is small, so we are having problems getting everything in there.  Well, now we have decided the bed is facing the wrong way.  Yikes!  Move out all the dressers, bedside tables, etc. and just move that bed!  Maybe tomorrow.  Dunno.  Kinda heavy.

The move has been tough with all that has been going on.  Work is very hard.  Especially when one is sick!  I have been sent home twice cuz I went to work sick.  And it is hard to unpack and rearrange when one is sick.  I'd rather be in bed.  The man has had his problems, too.  We won't go into them, but it's been pretty bad.  When this is all said and done, we will look back at it and, no, not laugh!!!!  Be glad it is all over!!!!  We are creating a home together, and that is a good thing.  It belongs to both of us.
