I have survived all of the disasters including having our power out for 4 days.  Now in Michigan visiting my brother and family as planned.  The flight here was good, but had to get up at 4:00 am to be  at the airport on time.  Sister-in-law managed to get admitted to the hospital, but came home the night before we arrived.  She still doesn't feel so hot and is trying to show us a good time even tho it is hard.  Ack!

Went to a job fair day before we left and it is encouraging, but I am not getting my hopes up too much.  It is a job doing what I do best, slinging chemo, with weekends and holidays off.  Yay!!!  They really liked me cuz I am advanced certified and have 20+ years experience.  And, they will meet my salary expectations.  Nice.  I am not hired yet, but await further word, yes or no.

It is 95 degrees here in Michigan today.  What?  I think I will get in some pool time after everyone wakes up from their naps.  Looks like an old folks home here with everybody dozing in their chairs.  LOL!!!

Try one of these http://www.reynoldspkg.com/reynoldskitchens/en/product.asp?cat_id=1337&p.... The Turkey will stay moist and will not need any basting.

I'm a big fan of Good Eats on FoodTV and Alton did a really good show on turkey called Romancing the Bird. It's available on Youtube cut into 4 segments: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acUg1jaUzOY

Rock, I hope everything is OK and don't be so hard on yourself! Here are some lyrics that ring true for me! Carry On My Wayward Son There'll Be Peace When You Are Done Lay Your Weary Head To Rest Don't You Cry No More Once I Rose Above The Noise And Confusion Just To Get A Glimpse Beyond This Illusion I Was Soaring Ever Higher, But I Flew Too High Though My Eyes Could See I Still Was A Blind Man Though My Mind Could Think I Still Was A Mad Man I Hear The Voices When I'm Dreaming, I Can Hear Them Say Carry On My Wayward Son, There'll Be Peace When You Are Done Lay Your Weary Head To Rest Don't You Cry No More Masquerading As A Man With A Reason My Charade Is The Event Of The Season And If I Claim To Be A Wise Man, It Surely Means That I Don't Know On A Stormy Sea Of Moving Emotion Tossed About I'm Like A Ship On The Ocean I Set A Course For Winds Of Fortune, But I Hear The Voices Say Carry On My Wayward Son There'll Be Peace When You Are Done Lay Your Weary Head To Rest Don't You Cry No More Carry On, You Will Always Remember Carry On, Nothing Equals The Splendor Now Your Life's No Longer Empty Surely Heaven Waits For You Carry On My Wayward Son There'll Be Peace When You Are Done Lay Your Weary Head To Rest Don't You Cry No More
