Ms. Personality

I guess I should have lied and said I was divorced, but.....  I checked out eHarmony.com today.  They had this lengthy form to fill out which turned out to be a personality profile.  Wow!!!!  I really like me!!!!  It turns out I usually take care of others.  Well, yeh!  But, apparently, other than nursing, I also do it in real life.  I knew that.  It used words like understanding, selfless, kindhearted, and gentle for my "general description".  Nice.  I am sensible, realistic, sincere, and passionate.  I am somewhat disorganized, unpredictable at times, laid back, relaxed and pleasant.  I enjoy my own company as much as the company of others.  Well, yeh, that's cuz I like me!!!!!  I'm interesting and fun and a whole lot of other things.  Flexible.....  of course!  Either I'm pretty much perfect, or they only wanted to tell me the good things.  lol

So, I got the "free" personality profile, but cannot get into the site.  Separated isn't good enuf, I guess.  They actually had in big bold letters something like, Since You Are Still Married.....  and refused me.  Blah.  I imagine that is supposed to keep the predators out, but one can always lie.  I, of course, wouldn't lie, cuz, according to my profile, I am honest.  That I am.  Just ask me, I will tell you!  And a bit outspoken, straight forward, etc.   All good stuff.

I would post the link, but I doubt anyone is actually interested.  Y'all know me pretty well, anyways.  And I am me and life is good!!  Oh yeh, I'm resilient, too.  Chew on that one for a while!

I tried match.com with some good results. I'm currently separated as well and met some okay people on there. No, I didn't lie about it either.

My sister in law was told by eharmony that they couldn't find any matches for her. Although in her case, she probably gave answers that she wished were true as oppsed to ones that really were true.

Damn computers are even better than we are at giving out compliments. It is surprising how little I say something encouraging (and I am a mom) to someone even though I may hold them in highest esteem in my heart.

Try Match, com or Yahoo Personals. Once the Divorce is final you can add True, com. I met a few people on Match and Yahoo. My GF and I met on Yahoo about five years ago. As govnamac said, some profiles are what they wish they were, not who they are. It's still better then bars or chance.
